We invite applications for Five fully funded Ph.D. positions in Neuromorphic Commuting, AI, Robotics, and Machine Learning at  BMW AI Lab, RoboTac Team, Munich, Germany. 

The Ph.D. positions are funded partly by our new European project “ PHASTRACT project ” and partly by the BMW.

Topic 1

Neuromorphic computing based on oscillatory neural networks (ONNs) for multi-modal perception and Learning in robotics applications 

Topic 2

Neuromorphic computing based on oscillatory neural networks (ONNs) for motion and path planning for robotic system

Topic 3

Visuo-Tactile perception and learning for non-prehensile manipulation of soft and deformable objects 

Topic 4

Visuo-Tactile cross-modal perception and learning for Intelligent Interactive Robotic Systems 

Topic 5

Counterfactual Perception and Learning for Intelligent Human Machine Interaction 

Eligibility

MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Mathematics, Systems and Control, or a related field from only top international universities

Strong theoretical or mathematical background, and a strong interest in AI,  Robotics and Machine Learning​

Advanced programming skills in ROS, C++ and Python are mandatory. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Issac Nvidia, and various machine learning and robotics libraries

Having at least one publication in top IEEE conferences such as ICRA, IROS, ICML, CVPR, NeurIPS or top journals such as T-RO, AURO, RAL, science robotics, and etc

Efficient communication skills in English
